How We Got Here

We met each other at the right place and the right time—two hearts ready to explore a kind of love that allows us to flourish both as partners and as individuals.

Getting to truly know one another wasn’t always easy. We are, after all, complete opposites—Ken, the “live in the moment” type, and Sam, the “where do I want to be in five years” type. Yet somehow, what seemed like differences became the perfect complement. Where one leans on spontaneity, the other brings vision. Together, we balance and ground each other in ways we never imagined.

As we faced our own flaws and unhealthy habits, we became one another’s foundation. Through honesty, patience, and accountability, we learned to grow—not just side by side, but hand in hand. Every challenge made our bond stronger, every lesson deepened our joy.

Today, the word “proud” barely captures how we feel about all that we’ve overcome and achieved together. We are each other’s biggest supporters and toughest critics, always striving to bring out the best in one another. Whatever decisions we make, we face them together, knowing that our strength lies in our shared accountability and trust.
